It's a unique circumstance to be 11 years old and find your life's purpose. These formative years were when I began having my obsession with sound and recreating music I heard from the video games I played.
Growing up in Louisiana, I developed a love for my dad’s gospel CDs and my mother’s voice who sang in church. My grandmother had a piano in her home I would play with when we visited without any idea to what I was doing. Eventually she gave me a book titled “How to Read Music” when I was 11. I took piano for 2 years then randomly asked the orchestra teacher to borrow a violin when I was 14. It was love at first squeak.
After graduating from the University of Louisiana in Lafayette in 2019 with a degree in music performance and releasing my first EP, "Love Language," I had my viral violin cover of "Old Town Road" retweeted by Lil Nas X. Additionally, I've had covers retweeted by Grammy award winning artists SZA and Miguel. These accomplishments inspired me to continue pursuing violin as my career with a realization that my passions are attainable.
I love every part of the music-making process. The more I improve, the more I want to grow. Coming from a family of singers, I am the only musician to rise from my family tree. Growing their legacy by establishing my own, I create music to entertain and soothe those who listen.
